ARxC Initiatives

ARxC is a non-profit organization of health care professionals, patient advocates, and human rights specialists in Georgia. We inform our community, provide support, and implement strategies to uphold the Patients’ Bill of Rights.

Advocacy in Georgia

  • Pass legislation to allow 100% of prescription drug rebates to pass to patients

  • Continue to support equitable expansion of Medicaid in Georgia that includes coverage for end-stage renal disease patients who are undocumented and/or uninsured.

Federal Advocacy

  • Improve the 340B program and restore patient benefits.

  • Help passage of the Copays Act (HR 5801) to prohibit copay accumulator programs.

​​

  • Support new drug development and equity in clinical trials. Pasteur Act (HR3932) will develop new antimicrobial drugs to address the threat of antimicrobial resistance.
